It is always nice to see alternate approaches. The imagination really speaks here.I also like the gentle overflow of light and the shadows. Good luck in the contest!

What a great looking picture showing the edge of a book in close-up, with the middle two pages bent over giving an 'heart' effect. Against the jet black background, the book image is just great and in such great detail. Good creativity and thought gone into this. Very good and well taken picture. Nice work! (digitalscud from the UK).

Great photo. This still life is simple but elegant. The tight cropping of the book is an added bonus to the very clever way of making the pages into a love heart. Great camera skill with exposure, DOF and framing. Thank you for sharing this image with us.

I do like it - very much! I think it's clever and creative photography. I like the way that some of the wording on the pages can be seen and your Topaz editing has accented the details really well.

Are you kidding? This is up my alley as I'm new to Topaz and love the dodge and shadow, the detail. Everything about this upload I find inspiring, including the red pop of colour which to me just makes the image explode.

You have cropped it nicely giving intimacy with the subject but also room for those pages to unfurl. The post camera processing really makes this shot and to me it feels very professionally done.

This is photographic fine art which sings out to the viewers. It's dynamic with the flow of lines and reflective qualities along the bottom. Your filter applications are perfect.

You have my vote!

Great title for this one...and I really like the thot that went into this one. ....of the 2 pages turned inward.

What a very unusual photo. Don't know where you got the idea, but it is neat. I especially appreciate the way the darkness shows through the pages of the book. Good job. Oh, the red binding adds also.

This works really well, kind of takes you by surprise, great light and shade and that touch of red really lifts it. Has a vintage feel to it.
