Great clouds surrounded by crisp silhouettes of the trees. Adding the birds was an excellent artistic addition that add interest and help the beauty of your image stand out.
So sorry, I have discovered Fanart will not allow me to give you another 6. It would have made a good entry to the Nature Black and White contest.

Thank you very much! Don't worry about ratings. Any rating is right if it comes with reviews like yours!

Thanks again! Ah, I forgot to mention, it is my entry to the black and white contest. :-)

Great. I have 3 friends in the contest. I am sure one of you will win. I seldom win these contests. Good luck Cleo! Bren

Well me either. I do not have a chance. The picture has not enough reviews.

Cleo, that is absolutely not true. I see images win that have hardly been seen before. Eva never promotes her entries but she frequently wins. You are just over stressed and doubtless tired. This is a difficult time for you but you are strong but you have to take care of yourself. Rest and back away from dark thoughts. Thinking and imagination can not serve you well right now. Bren

Really, No I do not mine because its not promoted. That probably dos not make a difference; but I am for years on the site and always tought a picture has to be at least recognized to be considered.

Not true Cleo. I will check but I am really certain this is not true. So, look up, you are great , your are gifted and you have a good chance of winning. Bren

The depth in the clouds is really, really stupendous! I think, by using the trees and the tree line as a silhouette you have given us an amazing and deep look into a sense of freedom. This translates perfectly into black and white! DonkeyOatey

    Thank you very much!
You are right. It not only translates perfect, I think it is actually more impressive in black and white. This picture was taken in black and white, but I have some color shots too.
I also think somewhat there is a difference between converted photos and those actually taken in black and white. Truth that could be that my program is over aged, but the camera is new.

Very interesting composition. Very stark with mostly white & Black silhouettes. The panoramic crop works well with a tree on each side framing the picture. I think the picture could be spectacular if the wonderful cloud formations had more detail. Bringing out some more gray tones in the clouds will also give the photo more sense of depth. Grammysandy

Thank you very much. To do more on the sky I have to get a new computer first. My ten year old program, I work currently just masks it grainy, but I cannot load my new program since the CD-Drive on my laptop got broken.

Very nice wide-open spaces between the trees allowing the two birds to have fun flying. It is stark in black and white, but there is a softness given by the puffy clouds.

A very nice silhouette picture - from far it looks like a collage - the two birds are the perfect add in this frame to bring life into the scene - it also has kind like hidden drama in black and white as the land is really black and the cloud formation is huge with many different parts, just the two birds are in a peaceful space showing that all is fine - a very special shot - well done

Thank you very much! Those settings did remind me of the Chinese Shadow Theater; the birds being the actors.

Quite profound in the black and white, and great contest entry. Sky is really beautiful up against the silhouette of the land. Very nice shot! A lot of visual impact.

Fabulous editing to create this wonderful scene Cleo. The birds are perfectly placed in the frame and look believable as a pair. The cloud formations add further interest and drama - I hope you do well in the contest.

Thank you very much! It had to black and white for the contest. One has just to find the right scenery.
Things are getting slowly better. Thanks for your concern and your support. :-)
