Wow! Willie,I love this photo, maybe because I'm all about the color. Mostly because I thought it was some abract painting or photoshopped mixed media,and I passed it up the 1st time. When I stopped and blew it up it blew me away that it was an actual photo. Love the colors, the sillouette and the feel of movement. Very well done

Good shot & I love the whole reflection of this heron. and I can almost "hear" the quiet stillness when you took this photo. I love going to the lalke and capturing photos such as this. Glad that you are now doing what you want to do. I can think of no more satisfying job/ hobby than what you are doing. I love photography too.

Thank you so very much! Someone asked me what I was doing now that I retired. I told them I am shooting about 200 pictures a day and told them that work was getting in my way of what I was born to do!

Some pictures talk to you right away. This is one of them. Simple, elegant, and absolutely beautiful. The fall coloring reflected in the water is arresting, and serves as the perfect background to the bird. A Hanger!
