The colors are so nice. I like how the reflection of the colors on the water looks so blended as if it was painted on a canvas. Nice silhouette of the heron.

I like images like this one where the subject is in darkness. The bird on the branch sticking out of the water works very well. Gorgeous reflections in the water which are due to the wonderful range of tones in red, yellow and orange. Like your framing and your focus is very good too. Very apt for the contest so Good Luck in that.

Very creative and unusual image of this bird. The fall colors a just beautiful and the silhouette of the bird works really well here. There is no doubt in my mind that the bird is a Heron, the reflection of the bird and stick also help to anchor the silhouette and the fall color reflections give this image a painterly feeling. Well done and good luck with the contest.
