Wow, love close up on birds to show the beautiful and colorful details as you have done here. Nice clean and clear background, super focus and exposure. Top shot.

Very good sharp focus and the blurred top feathers are effective. Nicely framed and the cardinal's eye is a strong intial impact:)

This is a tremendous shot of this male cardinal. Focus is out of sight beautiful spot on perfect. The colors and the detail in the feathers and markings are gorgeous. Excellent capture of his beak and eye, both of which have a shine from the sun in this terrifically illuminated shot. Great framing, and good background.

I think this is probably the closest I've ever seen a cardinal. He is indeed beautiful. The composition is great, clarity is great. This is an eye pleasing photo.

Amazing initial impact and colors. The details are fantastic. Excellent focus and depth of field. Composition/cropping is very well done. I have to ask: what lens did you use?

Nicely done. Love the detail, you can almost count the feathers. The piercing look is a great catch. The red is so vibrant. Very nice shot.

Wow hard to believe this is such a wee bird and have to say he almost has the "evil eye" look to him. Startling details on the brilliant feathers with the wonderful angle of his head giving it a unique look against the green of the b.g. Excellent lighting and perfect "macro" close up of the living breathing cardinal! Stunning image!
