a great and unusual capture; I thought it was an old kitchen, there are several similar in some of the old European castles, especially in France;

To me your picture was just "OK" until I read your notes and understood what I was looking at and that made it well worth the five star rating. Enjoyed, thanks for posting.

Amazing details and great texture. Nice color, good illumination and sharp focus. This seems to be an ancient wood oven. Great job

Great photo...and history. The photo is just a little fuzzy, but the brick texture gives it great dimension. What an absolute find to get a photo of this. thank you for sharing.

Well I have read your lengthy notes and still none the wiser what this furnace was used for! Did it heat water which was pumped around the building to provide heat, a bit like the Roman Baths? Anyway makes for a very good photograph. Lots of textures in those old bricks, as well as colours. I can see a few plants dotted around and what looks like a tea cup too. Covered with plants, upright and trailing, this would look very striking.

    Thanks believe it or not the plants were part of the art exhibition in the tunnels and as there is no natural light don't think they would last too long - amazing that this has been part of the cities history but most people were unaware of the tunnels existence.

Before I read your notes I would have guessed at some kind of oven, I like all the textures you have captured, lots of nice details and the different colored bricks, well comoposed and nicely framed, nice shot, Kim.
