Nice play of light and shadow that you have captured here in this image. Overall composition, the image is nicely centered with great perspective. The subject matter is in focus, and I like how the colors came out with this image.

Gorgeous! Love the misty, grey backround and the shadows of the trees which to me are saying that they are stronger, and more long lasting than life, as look at them! Love the colours, of which there are few, but they are beautiful. Best wishes.

martinblumberg, I kept looking at this, at first I did not like it, but I could not leave it for some reason. There is a since of solitude about this picture, so I gave it 5 stars. ( the more I looked at it , the more I liked it.

Interesting photograph... easy and comfortable to look at. I've always like winter scenes. The cold and the snow. Reminds me of my heartless and cold creations.

I was having trouble deciding how to rate this. I liked the idea of catching shadows on a cover of snow but something seems lacking. Perhaps a shadow cast from something out of sight to ignite curiosity. I think the shadow lines from the trees cast forms a little too rigid and symmetrical for a nature shot.
