Are they not the cutest of the ape family. Nice composition, nice focus although it seems to more on the lower half of the apes givingmore detail there, good colours and nice depth. Well done.

I thought this was a sleuth until I read your notes. Strange looking Gibbon but I am not expert on monkeys! Strange how the baby is completely different to the mother too. Very interesting shot though and I like the natural surroundings (well, as nature as they can be in a zoo). Very good camera techniques. Thanks for sharing.

The baby is hardly visible as he is hiding behind his mother. He may be timid in personality and still need motherâ??s protection. I like the overall soft feeling in the image. The texture of the fur is especially nice. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks so much, yes the baby was suckling on mothers breast then looked up as if to see who was watching. :)

For the cute factor - this is off the scale. I love that the gibbon is so sharp I can see all the separate hairs that make up his fur. I couldn't understand why it was called Mother and Baby and then I saw the other little face looking round the side of the reclining monkey. Lovely picture.

Thanks - the baby is black with white face and was just suckling on mothers breast then looked up to see who was watching.
