Great capture of the precious shy Orangutan. What a beautiful face with such clarity and good focus. Almost looks like he is sleeping. How interesting that he covered himself with a blanket and turned his back to you. Amazing.

This is a lovely shot of an orangutan. Nice colours, cute face. Good clarity. Perfection would have been if she was looking at the camera! But it's still good.

Wonderful lighting and the focus is super good. You have really caught a moment form this Orangutan. He almost looks like he is getting ready for a nap!
Well done with great focus.

Mary, you certainly caught the Action, the look on his face, and it looks like the ball is in trouble also? Wonderful Action shot, you don't see many like this that's for sure. Overall Sharpness and focus could be no better, exposure is right on, facial expression is priceless. Thanks for sharing this one. Royal

Very shy,indeed!
As if enjoying the moment with that gratifying look, this orangutan strikes a very candid pose. The blue green ball provides a fitting contrast to his round face and that structure below his nose. His drooping eyes with short white lashes looks so cute. His earth tone thick fur and receding hairline completes the innocent countenance...
the long depth of field is harmonious... Cropping is just enough.

This is stunning - love it! Great composition, good focus on him showing lots of nice detail in his face and hair, great colours and good depth, I would have PS'd the two bars out but very well done.

Great shot, especially for a "quick capture"! Love the textures all working together, from the tree bark, the ball and the orangutan's fur. Colors, contrast and lighting are all effective. Nice composition as well - he looks like he was posing for you!

Thanks so much, such a shy guy - went back about 3 times and only came out from under the blanket once. :)

his ball looks like an emu egg. he is a cut fellow. very clear shot and his hair is like a super model. Would you mind if I drew your picture?

What a handsome chap he is. The look on his face says "This is my ball and you're not having it." I love that he is up so close and personal and you have not wasted any of the page. Good clarity and lighting and the subject matter is great. It really made me laugh when I read how he covered his head with a blanket so you couldn't get anymore shots - funny little thing.
