Oh my goodness how gorgeous. I cannot get over the detail shown in this photo. The color is spectacular. What fantastic composition and subject matter. So beautiful. Photography at it's finest.

I really enjoyed the notes! interesting history! The shot is so full of details, it takes a lot of time to absorb all of them. the HDR look works so well on this, adds depth and pop, and also makes the highlights glow golden! Donkeyoatey

I've had that happen also here on FAR. This photograph is very well done. Detail stands out well as does color and framing of the shot. Good work

Amazing! I could have done with you my first ever wedding shoot! I can safely say that the photos I took in the church are not even a fraction as detailed as yours, the clarity is just amazing and you've recorded all the tiny detailing and textures. I am guessing you were allowed to use a flash though and had plenty of time to prepare for your shot, and the HDR probably helped a little. Perhaps I could try that on mine, though they do have people in them so I don't know...

Thank you so very much for the lovely review and for the generous rating. Flash was not permitted, so this is taken without. Since it was quite dark inside the church I had to use ISO 800. I did not really have very much time to prepare for it either, so the camera was hand held.

Well that really is amazing then as getting such fine finish on iso 800 is quite a feat. Has the HDR helped to remove the grain you would get with such high iso? I really need to start looking into that I think...

HDR treatment sometimes add more grain I think, but in this case it didn't. You for sure get more depth into your photos though, and especially if you use three or more exposers. Since I did not use a tripod, I had to settle for one.

You did a great job! and I love the HDR effect. One of these days this is something else I want to learn how to do. The lighting is beautiful and I love the star effects on the lights.

Annie, I don't see any ruined anything. This is just wonderful. Your eye for details always just amazes me. The colors are superb. The main focus lets us see what you saw and more. Perfect focus and wonderful POV.

Well it's still a very impressive shot. I like the slight HDR effect to bring out all that amazing detail. What beautiful architectural features, very well captured.

Nice shot. I don't see anything ruined in this beauty. The verticals are just that-vertical.Coloration is perfect. Shadow detail in the upper area near the ceiling is just right. With everything sharp too.

Cara! Wow! The way you always control your lighting has drawn me to your work from day one.
This is beautiful! The angle you took this at gives us so much to take in.
Clarity, lighting, architectural details are all flawless despite Fars crap uploads.
Bravo Cara! ;)

Think this is stunning. fantastic control of the light and the composition is great also. Use of Photomatix Pro in giving it a HDR treatment really brings out the details. Absolutely superb.
