really excellent interpretation of the reggae theme. have been lucky to see the late bim sherman live and also lee scratch perry. this very much conveys both the colour and the atmosphere, of revivalist reggae tunes + vibes.

Thank you very much for your review and your excellent rating. I had an advance by living for 16 years in the Caribbean :-)

i did not know you lived there. so you have an excellent grounding in this work. they play a lot of roots stuff on the islands of thailand. what an amazing creation you made.

I didn't live at the islands, but the Yucatan Belongs geographically and cultural to the Caribbean and central America. Its just politically North America, because it is part of Mexico. The peninsula is actually the land which departed the Caribbean from the Golf of Mexico. We lived on the Caribbean coast of Mexico, just 200 miles north of the Belize Border. Jamaica is about 300 air miles away. I mentioned it before; it has always amazed me how the nature Thailand and the Caribbean are similar. Some of the pictures you published looked like home to me.

Oh yes yes yes, you know this has me stamped all over it. Love the colours and the chaos of shapes. It def has that festival vibe, reminds me of the tie dye clothes I wore at college. The guitar and line stand out well yet are swirled into the chaos as well. It just has a such an alive, and electric feel, you def achieved what you wanted to here

Wow Stars are raining. You made my day. I am happy, you like it.
The tie dye close is right, I got some inspiration from that. I had some advantage, by living for 16 years in the Caribbean.

GREAT idea to include the "Lion of Judah" it is so iconic! I think the colors are great, very vivid and a nice flow..the guitar has a nice bit of punch, and is presented so well being slightly tilted. I wish you much luck in the contest! donkeyoatey

Thank you!!! I am not particularly knowing about the styles favored around the world including the US. I just did go from what I know from living 16 years in the Caribbean. Did you realize that my Lion has Rasta hair?

Oh I do like a bit of mellow reggae music and I just love your art work here incorporating the colours of the Jamaican flag. It would make a fantastic cover for a CD!

Ooh where about did you live? I've visited Barbados, Antigua and St. Lucia. Beautiful places!

Not on the Islands, but Caribbean nevertheless. We lived at the Yucatan Peninsula until my husband got ill last January. The Yucatan is geographically and culturally part of the Caribbean and Central America. It only belongs politically to North America sinse it is part of Mexico. It is the hunk of land which separates the Caribbean from the Golf. PaaMul is 50 miles south of Cancun and about 200 miles on land north of the Belize border on the Caribbean coast of Mexico. Its an about one hour air jump to La Habana, Cuba and about 350-400 miles bird-fly away from Jamaica.

This is perfect. The psychedelic pattern and color coordination is just fit into the mood of the music â?? very rhythmical. I can hear even tempo of the music from the image. This is first class design for the record cover. Thank you for sharing.

Read your notes but must confess you lost me. I am not a reggie fan but I do like this image a great deal. This is based on what my eyes see rather than my ears hear! Such a riot of colours which are very striking and eye catching. The guitar is very well detailed, as is the lion which looks like the kind of lion you might find on an old hallmark. Being shown in black, the lion stands out in the picture from the other shapes and colours. Looks like a lot of work went into this and no doubt a good deal of time too.

I am not a Reggae particularly; but for me it came with the job plus 16 years living in the Caribbean to be informed about. Thank you very much for your kind and very encouraging review.
