Colours are excellent and the chess pieces are drawn with exceptional skill. As always your humour brings a smile and enjoy viewing your work.

Excellent work, and with
BIC sharpies. It always
amazes me at the clarity,
the details, the fun that you
put in your work.

I like this one a lot as it
has lots of color, has objects I can understand, and yes, it gives a boost for
FAR. Tom should not mind.
Great work and great skills and imaginations.
PS Would love to have other places to post also. Is it legal to post names in a reply to me. If not, just
ignore me. I also poston
one other site.
Thanks for sharing.

I'll have to yield to your expertise in my competing in such a contest! You've shown once again that you're a force to compete against in marker art. Such a great advertisement here for the contest and for your talent. Awesome chess pieces! And your clever little primate friend has made me chuckle more than once! Thanks:)

oh no no no..this contest for me to strut stuff..nope..this is really kinda like a workshop u can say..many people who particiapted last year had no experience with markers and also there was photographers, digital artist and mix media who enetered..they really were all good..i wonder if that can be looked up that on the contest section far back? however people got a chance to get a better understanding in what these type of markers can and cannot do..see they r really considered office materials ..not art..many who particiapted now understand what i have to do to create something like this poster that u reviewed..(u can say that they understand why my skin tones r slightly pinkish..part is to blame is my cheap scanner..the other is i have to blend several colors to create the final tone. another cool thing is one of the photographers..patti fell in love with the BIC markers and this year with her very cool cartoons she has been holing in the top 5 level..but either way this participation is strictly for fun and workshop of understanding them..by the way i left the topic open so u can do anything u want as long it is with a sharpie or bic markers..u can go abstract ot better yet..sharpie is famous art is doodle believe it or not..so give it a shot..aint no one gonna laugh..wink..thanks for the awsome review

Perfect shading and rendering of the chess pieces! A big 'wow'. Your trademark monkey behind the rook was a brilliant idea! I will have to check the contest out-haven't done any marker work since! Should be fun-great idea! Jean

Nice ad, very colorful and to the point. Maybe someday I'll have enough drawing skill to enter, right now it'd be a lost cause unless maybe abstract:) Really nice piece. thanks for sharing.
