i dont have any sharpies dont even know if i could make anything halfway decent i will in the future have to invest in some and see what happens

im treating this contest more like a workshop to give everyone a taste of what sharpies can and cannot do..ur talent alone would handle the draawing..the fun part u will see is the blend of color, shading, etc..but this is all for fun..would love to have there bro if ya can..oh btw..u can find 24pk of sharpies either at walmart..office dept or max and target..wink

i do a few contest each year and as alwaays ill do a poster to advertise it to fellow members as other sites im on..why dont u come join us?..it will give u a fell of that medium..thanks for the great review

no dear this is a poster that is advertising the upcoming sharpie/bic art contest here on FAR. jean cormier was last years winners and this year can be anyones game..ur welcom to come join us..funny thing..patti who is in the top 5 of traditional artist is really a photographer..she just started with the sharpie art only this past year..she really is a great cartoonist..but come join us and have some fun..wink. thanks for the good review

i had a photographer tell me one time that all he can do is stickmen..really? well let me make a suggestion..do 4 stickmen standing around a barrel..on 3 of the stickmen make a triangle over the center part of the body..and on the 4th stickmen do a sideways figure 8 just below the head on the top part of the body...u know what u just created? a toga party with 3 guys and a girl on the movie "animal house"..wink

hey bro why dont u go down to wally world and pick a 24 pack of sharpies and join us..or better yet..go to office depot or max and get only the black and gray markers..ur so used to pencil u know..come join us..would love to have ur talent there..wink..thanks for the great review

why dont u come join us..i do this type of contest to get folks to be familiar with my medium.i did get a few photographers hooked on them last year..one of them is "patti" she is doing well with the bIC markers this year..i treat this contest more like a workshop..thanks for the great review

come join us in the contest..i do these contest to give folks a chance to experience this type of medium..many have used it but only to doodling when bored or make a small cartoon ..well that is what i see folks do at meetings in the corporate world...patti (in th top 5 for traditional artist this year) has been a photographer here on FAR..last year she got a pack of BIC markers and started to play with them. she makes awsome cartoons..this all more a workshop style contest u can say. if u get the time come join us and i do thank u for the great review.
