Shows very vibrant against the blue sky..and you got the clouds to perform on cue! LOL! Nice angle, and I like the one only partially in the frame, that for me, makes it feel I am looking out a window. Donkeyoatey

Rather stunning. Really nice, sharp, clean and clear. Good lighting at that. Not sure of the weather you have been having but until last week, we hardly had any sunshine at all but I see you had a clear day on this fine shot and thanks for sharing.

Looks familiar, been shooting these a lot lately. Nice angle and background sky detail, for a great color combo. Bee included, though the flowers take the show against the sky. A cheerful composition, showing the heads thrust skyward.

WOW - What a shot of sunflowers. They are indeed standing proud against the lovely blue sky, where the clouds are adding interest. Your photo has an almost 3D effect to it, and I suspect this is coming from the adjustments done in Topaz. A wonderful editing tool.

The flowers are pin sharp showing clear and well defined details all over, and the exposure is spot on. This has such a great feel of summer, and I feel that the colors are very natural, and of course truly lovely.

I like the way you have placed the flowers within the frame, but feel that the composition would have been even more striking if you had left out the one on the right. Very much a matter of taste of course, and I also like it a lot the way it is. Another really well taken and edited photo. Good luck Willie.

Thank you so very much! I had thought of taking the one out on the right but left it for more color. Do you think it would be better with it gone?
reply by avmurray on 17-Jul-2013
I actually do, and the reason for it is because it is touching the frame. Others might disagree though, and you should do what you think is best. The flower on the left should probably then be sitting just a tad more to the right to avoid too much negative space on the right.

I will have a look out for it. Always nice when you can give some useful advice.

I got it fixed! I am glad you pointed this out to me as I agree with you. I think this looks much better.
I have been posting on viewbug.com and this is one of them. Thanks again!

I think it looks a lot better this way. You did not loose anything at all by taking away the second flower. Have to look up this viewbug.com

It is all contests and the competition is tough. They have some great prizes and a lot of very good talent. It will cost around $55.00 for the year. You don't have to review either. To get noticed you enter contests and there is also projects that you can get in too. You can also use the same picture for multipal contests. The annual fee is all you have to pay so all the contest entries are free.
