I like this, mainly because of the bright colors but also those feet peeking out.
Could see this as a wall hanging in a child's room.

Marguarite, this piece with it's bold colours of the rainbow not only is eye catching but there is mystery and humour all wrapped up in this one upload.
Yes, of course you have great initial visual impact, you can't help it with the colours you have chosen. Furthermore, you have placed the umbrella nicely formatted onto the canvas. This on it's own would have been a good and simple piece but it is the mystery of the little feet and your sense of humour that pushes this artwork over the top, it is why it succeeds in bringing us a smile and ignites our brains with memories of childhood filled with giggles, snorts, secrets told while pigtails and smudged faces resonate with youthful exuberance beneath a colourful umbrella.
Top marks for this upload. I haven't seen you here for a good while...hope you are well, judging from this upload your are...welcome back.

I like the simplicity of this work and also the very bright colours. Your title is most apt. Very clever composition too with the umbrella filling the entire frame. The feet poking out beneath tell me there are people taking shelter from the rain. Would make a good illustraton, perhaps for a children's book.
