I think you are right. This is how a lot of men are seeing the beach. LOL I remember well my own grandfather being at a party with a lot of young women around coming with similar comments. Still it was how lively his eyes suddenly became, that amused me the most.
We are however not here to talk about old men, but art, so back to business. What I like the best about this work is the limited color pallet, and also the close and personal approach. The tanned girl dressed in red and yellow is for sure giving this image a high impact, and the turquoise sea is a perfect contrast.
This is also very well drawn with accurate lines done with a steady hand. The space is used extremely well, and it is good flow in this work. The tight framing is just perfect. My only comment is that the white part of the background could be a bit distracting, but still I sort of like it. This is all together really well done.
