Great subject placement--more space on the right and not centered?
Nice capture of the blue eyes and blue palate.
Complemented by the yellow facial part and throat plumage.
Black backdrop lends a monochromatic backdrop.
Had there been a backlight, this could have been an interesting close up.

Love the blue eyes. To me eileen,before reading your notes, his eye is begging for something. (Ahh that's why!.) Am sure he's talking and smiling. He's full of expectation, he didn't fail did he? good background, it highlights the the dark colour object. Thanks.
