Looks like he is getting ready to pounce. I the love the green in the background it makes for great contrast in color.

You would never know you are at the zoo with cages. Very good work. You framed it just right and the colors are crisp especially his green eyes.

Thank you very much for the lovely review. This animal is not sitting in a zoo cage. It has vast areas to move around in, and he also has the company of two other Lynx. It is only when it is feeding time you can be sure to see them by the fence, the rest of the time they are hiding in the forest.

Is this a cheetah?
Nice captured though, looks like he's in the wild and natural forest.
I can tell he's listening and aware about something.
Beautifully cropped.
Good job.

A nice shot of this ferocious pussycat. Stands out well with nice lighting, sharp detail. Like the foreground framing also, adding some depth. Cropped and well positioned to make a nice composition.

That is even more breathtaking than the wolf! Fantastic detail in the face. Those eyes are mesmerizing. The expression and body language speak of awareness. He is observing, but ready to pounce if the time is right. As usual a admire the realistic look and colors very much

Hi Annie,

I'm not sure if this is a happy Lynx or not? The eyes and ears look like he may be a little disturbed about something. I think the fur of this Lynx is absolutely beautiful! The picture is stunning! You sond like me when I go to the zoo, trying to stick my lense theough an oppening to get a shot.

THis has lovely lighting, is framed beautifully and has great DOF! :o) Helvi

Thank you very much for the lovely review Helvi. I think these animals were quite happy since they are given vast areas to move around in. I did however notice that they don't like lenses being stuck through the fence. One was sitting very close to the fence and it sneered at me and tried to hit the camera with its paw.

Stunning! These are beautifull cats and very shy, you are lucky to be able to get one posing for you, with patience to let you get your lens between the fence wires. Nice composition, nice focus givinig nice detail, great colour clarity and nice depth. Well done.
