What a beautiful blue sky and I love the gorgeous tree in the foreground. The white smoke gives such a contrast to peace and stillness to noise in the skies. thanks for sharing.

Nice composition and presentation. I like the main line of the trunk how is replicated by the line of the clouds. A simple frame with a good point of interest. Good contrast and sharpness. Good lighting.

I really really like this picture. There are a few reasons I think it's great 1. Silhouetting the tree is a very good choice. We don't need to see texture. 2. Great use of the rule of thirds. 3. Great cropping. It gives us lots of lines and the tree on one side jet smoke with a nice diagonal line on the other.

bare tree average. wonder would a left crop to the center of the tree be a bit more pleasing to the eye?? just a thought.

This is an image which deceives the eyes. I read your notes and of course I see a tree large in the frame. For me though the blue appears to be water, rather than the sky with the white clouds looking more like waves on the water!

I assure you it is a real tree in my yard, and the sky. Actually there was jet contrails, and a few clouds. This to the right that looks like waves, is the clouds or was possibly the contrails scattering. This is why I chose to use this for my colors photo, because the clouds look odd. Thanks so much:)

If not for the tree, I would think I was looking at a small wave of blue water. Definitely adds interest to the photo. The tree with it's dark bare branches reaching toward the sky shows off intricate designs with branches of various thickness that demands your attention. Nice lighting and framing.
