Great capture for the competition. Lots of greens contrasting with the shadows. Good focus, framing and colour. Good luck.

Dark Angel, green it is and your title has a great humorous ring to it, and in gallery showings that is important to remember.

The way to go was to fill the frame and I'm in complete agreement with that for the black shadows give depth and pops out the greens.

Where the problem lies is in the focal plane as this image is not sharp and it needs to be sharp because what you show viewers is to be easily seen...leaves, veins.

Were you using a slow shutter speed and was the wind blowing?

It is a good entry into the contest because it is green.

Actually I do not remember what the shutter speed was but the wind was not blowing. The reason it appears fuzzy is because of the defining that was done through windows live. I had to have the shot done manually without auto focus so that might have been a factor also. Thank you for the tips and the kind words.

Real nice photo of ivy, just a touch too dark or over processed I think, but it could be my monitor.

Clarity is pretty good and shadows good, but possible could use a touch more highlighting.

thanks much for sharing.

The strong contrast seems to create drama.
I like the way he leave is on and out from the darkness.
This is a good entry to the contest.
Good luck in the contest and thank you for sharing.

Lovely range of greens and contrasts. I do feel the two leaves at the top are out of focus, but the rest makes a nice repeat pattern of nature. Well done!

I cleaned my glasses, enlarged the photo, but still most of it was out of focus. The middle top leaves in the photo are a distraction, with blownout highlights and not focused. If it is a first attempt at macro photography, it has appeared to miss the mark. Sorry for such a negative review
