This is a masterpiece in the Traditional genre.
Amazing technic, perspective and light/shadow proportion. I see also sophicient level of anatomy knowlrdge.

What a nice way to show off your talent. Beautiful hand study piece is perfect in composition and perspective. I like the shading and the fact that you used pencil, which is one of my favorite mediums to use. Good job!

Thanks. Its part of a study for a larger piece. Hopefully if I ever get it completed, it will be a full length figure study in pencil measuring 26 feet in height. The head is a finished, I just need time to get cracking on the rest.

Was it Dali or Da Vinci who did tons of sketches of hands? Can't remember, but I love yours because they are very unrealistic, and almost a caricature of arthritis, and slightly unreal. Best wishes.

Thanks. It is a study of my own hands. Which is a study for a larger piece. Which If ever gets completed should measure 26 feet in height.

I rather like this drawing. Simple yet emotive. Use of shading is excellent and although it does look a little out of proportion in some places I think it's very effective. I am looking forward to seeing more of your work.

I love this picture, very simple but yet it speaks volumns. The hands clasped like that remind me of my husband waiting for me to ask him if he is ready to leave when we are at my mother's place. Great detail, I look forward to seeing more of your art!

Beautiful life sketch of the clasped hands. Your shading to refine definition of detail is terrific. The only element that seemed off in this portrayal is the wrist on my right seemed a little too slender in comparison to the other and some of the fingers seemed a bit out of proportion, however, all hands are different and not two body parts are the same. Nice use of light and dark.
