Incredible shot. The wings are in perfect focus! Amazing how long they "con" their moms to keep feeding them! The black background is the perfect contrast for your Spoonbill.

Oh my Eileen. The emotion in this is just amazing. Perfect stop action. The pose does indeed speak of need and hunger (emotional.) The simplicity of black and white. Amazing work!

A fantastic shot. Never seen one of these birds before and did not know they existed. Very strange with that weird bill. The angle of the bird in the frame is very good, especially since the bird has its wings open. Like the lighting and also the black background. The bird is quite dark but that works very ell in this instance. You can quite easily see all the details.

Beautiful photo. Dramatic lighting, good clarity, great composition and very graceful looking bird. The stark black background adds to the dramatic look. The spread out wings add texture and interesting patterns and shapes to the photo as well.
