Digital image suite does some amazing things to what are probably already very interesting pieces. What I particularly like about this one is the use of both high impact, bright, harsh colours against softer, earthier tones causing huge pop. Really like the hourglass shape and fun, rolling feel. I also see several faces, eyebrows, mustaches and antenna along with hair. Wow. A lot going on here.

WOW what a complex piece of art with lots going on everywhere - first of all your artistic skills are amazing with al these modifications you applied to get this result - good color choice all is merging perfectly together - heaven and hell seems to be the same just hell is the upside down of heaven instead to be the the pure reflection of it - the base is love and that is the essence i see in this image - no matter where the flow goes, love is the center in heaven like below - hell is just what we create from heaven and we just need to find back to this centered heart - the middle part is the trigger and filter from one world to the next but it shows that all is one creation - super job, all the best for the contest

You have one of the best understandings and interpretations; and one of the few reviewers who got the upside down part! There is also some influence of Latin American believes. The colored parts symbolize the Yaxche, the Ceiba tree which connects the world of the Maya. [Crown = Sky/Haven, Trunk = the real world of humans in present, Roots = Xibalba, the underworld]

I see a mean looking monster like thing, I see some intestines, I see a cross section of a cell. I also see a very artistic work of art. Thanks Charlie

Thank you very much for your creative review!

I can not explain WHY. But as this opened, my first conscious thought was..Ciabalba (not sure I spelled that right) But I mean the Mayan world tree that has it's roots in the underworld and grew from the maize god from the underworld. To me, this looks somewhat like a representation of that, but in abstract terms. I can't figure how to turn off the bold on my laptop..LOL! I like this very much, and all is needs is a wee tiny abstract corn ear! LOL! Donkeyoatey

Mayan Mythology, not many know about and would come up with that. You do because you have looked into and know I have too. What you mean is Yaxche, the Ceiba tree which is Symbol of the entire world of the Maya. The roots are Xibalba, the underworld. Some call it the Mayan Hell, but hell does not get it. [I have some interesting articles send with e-mail to you]. You are right the tree is indeed in there, accompanied with some other creatures which sneaked in from other cultures around the world. You know how sneaky my muse is, especially with abstracts.
Your gremlins are out. I cannot see any boldā?¦LOL

It's not your connection. Mine acts up too! Something is wrong. I just do not know if it is the storm coming in or the site. I keep loosing the site just when try to send a review. Than I need long time to reload. The spell check won't work either. I had to start over with this answer too. I did see some bolt writing, short time ago, than lost the connection again. I thought its my eyes. It is almost Halloween. Put the chocolate out. You know its the only protection. LOL ;-} All kinds of gremlins seem on the loose!
...We probably are in the same stream of consciousness for a while, just don't know it. Cleo

I am sorry Cleo, honestly, is much for say whole. I go to say that, between other things, I see faces of animals, of aliens, and the persons. I like the brunette face of white hair and gray beard that repeat in the four corners of central figure, And not want to overlook the dolphins. I would want express better my opinion in this language, but not.
Well done and luck.

Mara you made my day! All the creatures you see are there. Your review is so uplifting to me after having several reviewers telling, they do nothing. Thank you!

    There much, in true.
Comment from CammyCards

I find this a bit busy. I like the design and its flow, but as for seeing something in it! In the small corners I see little bat or demon faces, but this may because of your title.

Thank you, for your kind review. This is an abstract. It does not requires that you see anything real in it. People will see very different things; in it or nothing. That is in my opinion the purpose of an abstract. I admit the post is to small to see fine detail. The original is 12 inches 30.5 cm by 400 ppi on e-file, which allows prints of 4-5 feet. Nevertheless I was hoping reviewers would the would see that the two bright colored areas resemble faces. I think the upper one looks a bit similar to a smiling dog, the lower looks a bit like a dog in distress. I don't won't spoil the fun and tell were see angels and demons and what it is, but when you want, I will send a list with e-mail. I see about 15; but that is maybe just me.

I will have to call this image up again and study it more closely. There is a lot going on and a lot of absorb in one look! I do like the overall shape with many others shapes inside the framework of your design. Lots of vibrant colours as well as softer and darker tones too. Certainly very abstract and thus apt for the contest. Good Luck at voting time.

Thank you. I appreciate your review very much.
Unfortunately the post is to small to see detail. It came for some reasons out a kind of fuzzy at far. I resized it twice in different programs. Both look fine on my computer but fuzzy on FAR. I think its maybe caused by metallic content in the colors.
Comment from Christine389

I see fire and heat boiling up and over into the cool, refreshing burst of water. This signifies freedom to me - escape from the demons of hell into the heavenly body of the sea. Like a re-birth. Well you did ask! The colours and the composition work really well together - good luck for the contest.
