The angle is good it adds a nice depth and perspective to the image. I like the framing it also adds to the depth, however I think it could be cropped tighter so that the out of focus wing has less of an impact, for it keeps my eye jumping too much (a suggestion, crop off some of the right side).
The light is good, I think the way you lit it, again having to do with the angle and the framing help accentuate the flower and the head and tongue of the butterfly more.
The various greens in background color really work to push the main components of the composition towards the viewer.

Thank you so very much! Do you have these plants in your area too? I think they are the neatest looking flower and is common here around water. It is funny how people say they have never seen one that have lived here all their life. That proves they never get out and enjoy the great outdoors!

Wonderful macro of this butterfly going to town on this flower head. Perfect focus and details. I like that you have cut part of the body off of both the subject and the flower with wonderful natural green color blurred in the back. Perfect photo , I'm out of six's.

The lighting you have on this photograph is better than just enough light. It is magnificent light and a tremendous macro focus. The light shining on the flower head and the butterfly with his proboscis extended in beautiful. A rich color tone of this tremendous nature shot.
