This is so very sweet. The clarity of the eyes is superb. I really like how you cropped the scene. One suggestion would be to try to touch up a tiny bit around the corners of the eyes and under the nose to remove any distracting crumblies.

Although this is a lovely shot of a sweet child it seemed to lack the warmth I had expected. I hate not being able to pinpoint why something doesn't grab me as the reason for reviews is to help us improve as well as let us know when we have it right. I do like black and white photos but maybe this one would be better in color (to me) but somehow it seems something other than that. Just wish I could figure this one out. Hmmm... dang but this is going to haunt me. -- Jackie

Maybe it was the lack of even the hint of a smile...He smiles a sneaky smile sometimes with his thumb in his mouth. I may try to catch that sometime. Thanks for the honest review!! Appreciate it.

Very nice black & white close up. Good sharpness and contrast. A good unique perspective and filled space. This is a far better piece than the last one I reviewed by you. Nice work.

Wonderful picture. The light in the eyeball of the childs enhances the image. However i can't see the tears clearly. The baby does not look tired to me at all. In fact the expresion is very good.

t4tots, this is a top-notch photograph; and an outstandingly beautiful child, tired though he was. The manner in wich you have framed, or cropped, is extremely appealing for me. Your exposure is perfect; the light in the baby's tired eyes is wonderful; the depth is good, capturing all the features of that innocent face. I always appreciate photographs of babies and children and like this one a whole bunch.
Peace,
Papa
I hope this young man has a peaceful and happy life,

The picture of innocence and serenity.
A very good photograph that shows both affection and creativity.
Still - how ever do you find the time to take photographs at a time when just slotting in things like sleeping, eating and breathing is so difficult!! ;0)

I absolutely ADORE this photo! Black and white shots are perfect for babies because it captures their perfect innocence. You can look into Carter's eyes in that shot and go a million miles away with him. I love it!

Another great black and white shot - I love the way his eyes glisten - you've obviously got a very photographic family - looking forward to seeing more.
