What an Idea, I would like to do that, but I wok slow. My duties at FanArtReview do not allow me much time to work on my paintings.
I have not even read your whole book jet. If a read anything, I will always leave a review. :o)

This is simply adorable. I love all of the little characters and the fairy. I love how small everything is and the detail in them. Nice story too. Very cute image nicely done.

This would make a marvelous Christmas card, Cleo! I knew it was yours without looking at the artists name- Soft and gentle style, I admire that you can do that! Mine work has heavy strokes and I always want to try to keep it soft like this! Lovely and peaceful, well laid out-each item and toy special and in scale. I like the frosty look in the background, ad the cute Mrs Claus! Merry Christmas! Jean

the fun and purity seems to be united in this artwork, which is the most appepriate way to illustrates the holiday season. The composition is highly creative. It is like Christmas ornaments placed in winter wonderland. Good luck in the contest and thank you for sharing.

Cleo, to me this feels very European, perhaps it in the little elves at the bottom, the wooden rocking horse and soldiers. We don't see those kind of toys in the west (or do we?).
What I really like is the softness of this upload. The fairy, the background dusted with snow the trees heavily laden with the white stuff and how it feels very misty as if I'm seeing this in a dream.
It is very well done with good dimensional proportions and perspective seen. It engages not only the eye with visual candy but also sense of story.
Gentle and soft....kind and full of good hope, bright eyes and happiness.

You are right. It there is a strong European influence. I know the elf's look more like Snow Whites dwarfs. I cannot hide from where I come from. Those toys are more memories of the Christmas Tales of my childhood, than reality. I guess the modern toys are very different everywhere. :o)
