OOps, my stars were registered wrong... hope this six fix gets through.
Poignant... heartbreakingly beautiful depiction of the Fact that non human animals are no less loving empathetic thoughtful... than we. Perhaps more purely so. I love the balance you establish with your horizontal forms throughout except for the cross and the the lab. The curve of the dog leads the eye to the cross and back to the dog, over and over. It's an engaging image an engaging composition, beautiful color and clarity. Beautiful keeps writing itself... in all aspects of the image. Great moment, great photo. Great dog I'm sure. Thanks

Wow how touching. These animals do mourn for loved ones. This is evident in this photo, and the story is pretty obvious in the photo. We lose them all too soon. Great choice for this contest. Labs are such wonderful dogs.
