Although most of us in the UK are fed up with the continuous rain this little chap brightens up the day. I simple shot of a happy child with good detail and focus. I like that there is no other clutter to spoil the moment of fun. Nice reflections in the water bring the image alive.

A great shot of the kid decked out for rain. Some of the digital effects are not convincing. The rain looks nice but it doesn't wet the outfit and he seems to be standing well above the puddle. The image is nonetheless very striking and an excellent contest entry.

to me this has got to be one of the most precious mixed medias I've seen in awhile. I love watching children playing in the rain, their giggles are contagious. they could care less about that cold that every mommy knows is no doubt coming after all this fun, all they think about is splashing water as high as they can up their rain boots. this is a sure winner in my book.
