Thanks for your positive review, always feel that bird photos you should give them room to move in the water rather than crop to close but think it is individual taste. :) Mary

A nice view of this mallard drake. I like the composition and the fact that you can see his foot in the water. I might have tried cloning out some of the flotsam on the water.

A male, emerald head, male mallard. Love the clarity of the plumage and the still water, without ripples. You have plenty of negative space, you still can increase the focus, by cropping this. And also, I guess, you can change the red-eye. I wonder if that's natural. I haven't seen one like that, so I am thinking. it can be fixed. Love that webbed foot underwater, you've captured that with utmost clarity, as well as the reflection.
