the technical aspects of the photo are stellar...the painting reminds me of a wild night in Cabo...I get the orientation of it against the door to convey a wonderful visual effect...nice capture

A luck find for you because it makes a great photo. The doorway and old wooden door look ancient and makes a wonderful frame for the painting. Wonder if someone put it there simply as a decoration or if there is another story behind it? Whatever, it makes a nice composition and you captured it very well. Excellent and thanks for sharing it.

This would have been a fine entry for the door contest Willie posted. But I am sure you have a great shot for that one! I love the textures of the stone and the wood, the highlights, artwork hung on the door with the fine colors and details.

What a great take of on the title! We all make the connection. Yes those artists are truly everywhere and who would not make the connection to a well known contest.
It is the perfect photo, perfectly traded in post processing. I think both subjects are just beautiful and emphasize each other. The native painting and its bright colors are beautifully emphasized by the textures and colors of stone and wood,
