technical 5 - mice sharp image except for the corn kernal/beak seems a bit soft and still trying to figure out how the rest can be so sharp and that appear different so maybe its just how it shows up on here. nice detail of the feather and light reflections on eye and beak.

Thanks so much, the image overall was a little soft but adjusting contrast seemed to bring it out a little more. Didn't have time to change settings which may have improved sharpness.

The colors are amazing on this Rainbow Lorikeet Mary! Love the pose, but the focus is soft. Not sure what your shutter speed was, but it was too low. When shooting birds, shutter speed needs to be at least 1/2000sec or higher and focus always on the eye.
It is a lovely shot, but focus is soft.
