Wonderful lady, in a wonderful close-up. Beautiful lighting and great natural color. Fabulous focus as well. It is of course the look on this lady's face that pulls me in for the most grand look. RIP Thanks for sharing this wonderful image.

Superb up close and very personal.
Compact framing. Fine features & textures. Subdued lighting! Sharply focused. Nice perspective & narrow DOF. Thanks for sharing...

This photo is razor sharp! Like the detail of the sad eyes, the fur, the nose, the skin. the lighting, the shadows and the clarity of the entire photo! Thanks for sharing.

Love the composition and the angle. There appears to be a cyan cast - even the eyes of the gorilla are green. This indicates your settings were off. Nevertheless, the strength of the image helps keep the rating up.

What a lovely study this is, Mary, of such a wonderful creature's face. Every hair is so clear (in fact, she looks like she's just had a good brush!) and the sunlight just edging her face and shoulder is a delightful touch.

Can't get over how closely the eyes resemble our eyes. Do the green reflections come from grass? Although the striped reflections are barely noticeable, the green distracts. I'm guessing no software available?
All in all, this a shot to be proud of. Those eyes!

Lovely shot of the beautiful Orangutan - she does look as if she's smiling at the little girl. Wonder what she's thinking?

Lighting and focus very good showing great detail. Very nice composition. Suzanne
