Thanks for posting another picture of this bird. Great shot, very clear, showing well. Good reflections in the sand. Maybe he had to go to the bathroom.

A very fine composition showing the curved bill and the bald head to perfection. Good colors and enough ob the surroundings to provide a feel for the type of habitat these birds live in.

Another beautiful image of these special birds and now we can see that they have some elegance - are they like Strauss or do they flay?

Beautiful capture from a nice perspective backside plus portrait - this face is fantastic - great composition, wonderful frame - good camera settings, I might have added a bit of contrast or darkened a bit so the face would be a bit more detailed - a genuine image, and it seems he perceived you the reason he turned around - great reaction, well done

Yes, the cross legged Northern Bald Ibis. I like your angle and spacious framing. In my screen, is a bit too bright and the fine details were lost. Maybe, decrease the brightness, and increase the clarity and sharpness to fix that. Overall, a pretty interesting subject.

Fred,
A beautiful picture of the Northern Bald Ibis strutting about the desert not aware of it's endangered situation but still crossing it's legs...maybe in the hope of catching another younger Mate? Beautiful composition & lighting with superb camera techniques with sharp focus.

The are so different looking. I just absolutely love the iridescence on their plumage. Do you know if the sexes are identical? Great shot.
