Gorgeous rich colours and tones. Very eye-catching. I like the use of lines coming from the stamen and leading the eye down through the image, Beautifully composed and presented/

I love the play of lights and artistic touch of the enhancements with software. You have taken a plain jane image and created a mastery piece of art. My only wish it that the upper right corner had a little lightness to it. It feels a bit lost and dark for my personal taste. Never the less this is a near perfect submission. Bravo!

What I love about your work and always have from the start, is your use of natural light. It has made me more aware of lighting and I studied until I learned how to use it when I am out shooting birds. Photography after all is ALL about the light.
The placement within the frame is superb. Your focus is razor sharp showing every detail in both the soft petals and the pistil and stamens.
Then you add in your Annie magic with your skilled use of flood and Topaz filters and this becomes oh so Annitastic!
Elegant, graceful and simply Stunning.
Socks off Cara! :)

The flower alone would have been great!
It has great clarity and good composition.
Like the background too.
Not too sure about the things coming out of it.
Nice shot!

Yellow is a favorite of mine for a hibiscus so this attracted me right away. The lighting is really quite neat and with the lens effects it really makes for a dramatic presentation. Great angle and positioning within the frame. The gentle flood filter looks nice and does not take away from the flower. The details on the leaves, petals and stamens are all superb. Quite wonderful.

An electric Hibiscus. What a beautiful dream. Wouldn't it be nice if we could use the power of Hibiscus as energy source. The residents of some tropical regions would have not to have to liver without power any longer.
You captured the specific beauty of this blossom and the species. I am especial impressed by the inner glow you gave the flower and the perfect captured textures.
