I like the idea behind this. It is presented creatively. If it were mine, I would probably black out the window on the far upper left so the viewers eyes would only rest on the subject.

Thank you very much for your kind review and your input.
I be may wrong. I have version with the window blacked out, exchanged background to darker, black and white and different farming's, but did not like them. The window alone seems lopsided, because the harmony of light and shadow is out of level plus there is too much negative space. Cropping makes it looking cramped.

I like the image very much. I see that it's not sharp but think that is intentional and it gives a nice vagueness to the picture. A little mystery as to who the shadow belongs to ( I know you've explained who it is, just how I perceive the image ) . The use of amber colour opposing black in the shadow is always a great contrasting mix, we'll balanced with the persons shadow at bottom right and window at top left, darkness opposes brightness at top left, well done "selfie". Great thoughtful picture.

Thank you very much for your throughout and thoughtful Review. Yes, you are right, the shadow is not sharp in purpose. I want to keep it realistic. The original shadows were even softer, partly due to the texture and color of the wall the other part due to the early morning hour and dark light at the room. [I could not use any artificial light, because it would have killed the shadows]
