I like this a lot. I watch a cooking show called "Extra Virgin". yes it is about Italian cooking. The woman on the shows look just like the model here.

very nice portrait piece...resting and relaxing is the proper sentiment of this piece...love the rendering of the black gown and the shading of it...nice facial rendering...love the lighting of the hair...soft background to accentuate the subject matter...a stellar composition...well done James and thanks for sharing

Beautiful painting very nice composition with a beautiful young woman - your background is wonderful in the different wall shades and the way you placed her in this frame is fantastic - the black dress is elegant and well realized with the perfect folding tissue falling naturally around her body. Excellent expressive portrait with great colors for the skin - the golden hair is fantastic in luminosity - your technique as always is breath taking, realistic and beautiful
