Send your sparrows to us here in Vermont. We are at flood stage in many of the bodies of water. Excellent clarity in the focus showing tremendous detail and color in the markings.

Cute little white crowned sparrow enjoying its bath time. He's really getting into the act in this shot. Fun to watch them and see this kind of activity. Most people don't pay any attention to these little birds. Good photo and nice entry for this contest. You should do well with it as it's unique and well captured.

Cute. Excellent angle showing the eye, soft textures of the feathers and that orange beak. Depth of focus and technical skills, high five. The background is a bit overlit and busy, maybe you can darken it, to fix that issue. Overall, this little sparrow was well captured.
