I have not seen a crested pigeon before, very neat looking as they look a lot like the blue jays we have. A good view on this cautious one as your focus looks spot on, framed and a nice exposure all before it flew off.

I have never heard of a crested pigeon before so I guess they are indigenous to your area. Pretty bird with his color and markings, pretty camouflaged in the colorful brush.

Nice picture, love the bird but wish it was at a different angle shot to see it better instead of through the grass. I'm sure you couldn't help that part... just saying!! Clear quality focus, and good effort.
