A wonderful view of the wide open flat farming country. Looks like a great area for grain and other farm products. Good focus/dof, frame and exposure with a sunny day.

Thanks George, it is a great area but can suffer a lot from drought, bushfires, mouse and locust plagues so I admire the farmers who stick it out.

There are some lovely contrasts in this photograph, Mary, with the short, dry grasses of the foreground leading on to the shrubby trees of the middle ground. The grain-planted fields beyond give the sense of the awesome distances of the Great South Land!

Well Mary this one shows our country area as it really is. The fields draw the eye back to the blue sky. Like the break of the trees adding balance. Good detail and framing. Hope to be in Wallaroo later this year. Yorkes is so beautiful.
