Like the angle of this scene and being straight as the pier is against the horizon view. The DOF is good here. The lighting is great as is the water. The only issue I have with this whole scene is I wish it were closer to the people to get a better view of them.

Like the panorama frame as the photo pretty well tells your story as people are watching and waiting for the tall ships. Good sunny exposure, focus and frame.

I think I see what you were trying to do--frame the tall ship between the piers? I'm afraid the ship is not prominent enough to be more than a distraction. On the other hand, the pier with its white rail and a few people make a very nice picture. Tells an interesting story. Nice contrast between the white rails and blue sky. Cheers, JR

Thanks - I have renamed the picture as reviewers seemed to think that the tall ship was the main subject - as my notes explained we just spotted the ship and found out they were visiting. Yes was framing it but the jetty and seascape was subject not tall ship specifically.
