A strange bug indeed Fred! His shell/wings look hand painted, very striking and super close up of the it and seeds, a great macro! Focus is pin sharp, DOF, exposure and framing all terrific!

Beautiful; shot of this Stink bug, there are many around here, but this species: Graphosoma lineatum is also known as the Italian Striped-Bug and Minstrel Bug. Well done, beautiful focus and colors. Thanks for sharing Fred.

At first glance I found it difficult to pick out the stink bug from the seeds. That is not your fault as these insects are masters at blending into their background. Critics would say that you perhaps needed to make it stand out more but I don't agree. It was in its natural surroundings and you have captured it well.
