Small Water Fall

I love this shot, it's like a beautiful painting and since I'm an artist and not a photographer , I always look at an image from an artists perspective.
This is just begging to be painted.!
Fabulous , well balanced composition with clarity and perspective in all elements that make this lovely image vibrate with movement . The flow of the water fall and the water that trickles down the rocks into the stream is full of life and charisma.
Vibrant green trees that frame this scene from nature are fresh and complimenting with perfect light and shade.
If I had a six left it would be yours!
Love it, love it, love it!

Nice photo of this pretty waterfall with the overhanging tree branches. The water at the top of the falls and then as it hits the rocks below seems over exposed where the sun is brightest on it. Hard to manage but a neutral density filter would help you mange the exposure better especially when you are shooting with a slow shutter speed as you did here. Still a pretty photo and good entry for the contest.

A beautiful scene with great colors. I like the glittering surface of the water and the beautiful composition. I think this could have benefitted from a longer shutter speed. Good luck in the contest.

What a nice shot! I like how the tree frames the waterfall and how the pond on the bottom is like another piece of the frame.

The falls are beautifully photographed.

Although, I think the color saturation on this shot is slightly heavy-handed.

thanks, snowblaze. This is slightly saturated, just a touch.

Wish I were sitting under the shade of the tree with my toes in the water. What a heavenly place. I can almost hear the water running. Nice movement of the water. I like how the water is reflecting into the river. Nice contrast of colors.

thank you so much. Yes, it so cool to just sit down here, especially now that we're in the 90's.

That is what I need. We have currently 91F here. Its a nice capture. I like angle, the vertical composition and the framing which supports the natural fall of the water. The photo seems to tilt to the right. I think it would look better straitened out few degrees to down on the left site. Best luck for the contest.

It is a nice capture but I am afraid the bits of sky and the water are over exposed. Without camera techs (EXIF Data) I can only assume your white balance was not set manually and your ISO was too high. Looks like you took this in the bright afternoon sun which makes it difficult when shooting waterfall shots. Shutter speed needed to be higher for stop action or very low to get that silky smooth look.
It is a nice capture, but some work is needed on camera techs and exposure.
Good luck.
