Excellent entry for the contest. Lovely shot of the pretty little waterfall with the water cascading over the rocks and the overhanging tree contrasting well. I like the angle you used for this.
Lighting and focus very good showing excellent clarity. Very nice composition. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

Other thank the whiteout at top of the waterfall this is a gorgeous scene:) The water does look so inviting and refreshing! The colors are vivid and bright, while the details are sharp and clear plus well lite. It's a lovely small paradise with a perfect frame.. thank you for sharing and I wish you the best in the contest!

The colors are vivid and bright, while the details are sharp and clear plus well lite. I have less confidence with water entry. and almost did not submit this as an entry. Usually, the entries are real good. thanks for the prayers, and I hope you're giving yourself rest after that move.

I know 'what, you mean about choosing a water photo for this contest.. I seem to always chose the wrong one;) But, I seen that you were doing pretty good in the contest.. at least it's not like a lot of my entries.. there are TO many times that I'm the only one who didn't get a vote! Thank you for your kind concern:)

I have organized different contest, and get zero votes, too. Sometimes, I did entered a not so winning entry, entered carelessly. Sometimes, the votes were really odd. One contest I like now, is the Iris, because the one that's winning, is really beautiful, not because of photo shop, or the fact that it is really traditional. Hope that entry will win. I don't know who owns that, but I am hoping.

I understand 'what, you're saying;) I don't think that I carelessly pick out 'what, to put into 'whatever' contest.. I just end up picking the wrong one. There are a number of the Iris' that I liked.. the Golden one is the one that I really liked..and yes, I like the contests that are really traditional:) Have a blessed day!

Terrific clarity in the focus of this shot with the lighting dancing on the rocks as the water spills over the falls into the crystal cleat pool. Very nice composition with excellent exposure and detail.

This photo is beautiful. Where to start? I love the shimmering effect of the water droplets upon the rocks, and the water to the lower right; the gentle curtain effect of the water going over the falls; the composition with the tree (love the new green color of the leaves) in relation to everything; the soft green of the rock at the lower left. An amazing photo.

What a lovely scene and looks peaceful. The trees overhanging create a cool feeling atmosphere to hang out of the sun. Speaking of the sun, the strength of the light has done a slight job on the colors and clarity. This is tough task to manage the strong light. Other than that, it s great shot.
