Think this is a black headed gull. Sometimes they go brown a while. Seen it here so must be a seasonal or age thing there. Does look strange though the only thing being brown

A beautiful capture showing a nice gull with a special body design, I am always amazed that there is non equal just like humans - I like the brown rock she is resting on as it is the same color as her head giving you nice color harmony in your image - the clear water waving over the rock almost brings you the ocean noise at home -
beautiful close up , nice frame choice , perfect focus and exposure , , your contrast is genuine and soft as well the ambiance - a lovely gull shot, thanks for sharing
