He is so cute! Almost looks like a Raccoon! Wonderful capture Mary with excellent techs all around. They look much smaller than the black and white Pandas:)

I've seen these panda in China: they are much smaller than the great mountain panda and always very sweet looking; excellent capture;

Thanks so much, their enclosure is right across from the two Mountain Pandas but they were asleep on this day. :) Mary

Cute little fellow with its black eyes and nose. Kind of reminds me of a raccoon with those brown marks around its eyes. Looks like he's chowing down on a bamboo leaf in its mouth. Cute photo and fun to see these little guys. Saw some at the San Diego, California zoo a few years ago. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks so much David, they are very active little pandas especially as their area is facing the large black and white pandas from China which seem to sleep and eat most of the time.

Great shot of this red panda.
He looks well cute, great detail and colours, like the light coming through the trees.
Thank you for sharing.

A beautiful animal which I believe is related to the raccoons we have around here. He does seem to be eating bamboo leaves which is not a staple anything around here could depend on. Great composition with outstanding lighting and colors.

Thanks Mike, they are also known as Himalayan Racoons so think you could be right. Adelaide Zoo feeds them Bamboo (which is grown in the zoo garden) fruit and as a treat sultanas :)
