Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. The burst of color and the physical structure explodes the scene. The yellow petals with some tiny hair things is sharp. The radiating spears of the husk that probably held the bloom adds good DOF. The background color is a nice contrast for the yellow flower.

A weed is only a weed if it grows where not intended. I actually think this weed has a very appealing presence. LOL. (I get mullein and thistle)
