What a sweet picture of what looks like a baby bird! You did a great job of balancing your settings in order for the bird to be such clarity even done to the point that the background is blurred!

Great appealing shot. And excellent postprocessing. You cropped it really good. Very sharp image with excellent saturation of colors. Interesting posture with birds beak wide open. Excellent initial impact. Thanks for sharing.

I expect we will see a lot of young birds on FAR but what I like about this is the sharp focus and detail. The light is just right and the DOF perfect giving the subtle green background. Looking into the eye you can see possibly the photographer.

He is so very cute and you have pictured him so well. I really like this portrait of Little Blue and especially the bright and shiny eye is captured well. The green background is perfect and when nicely softened like this, the bird is standing out in the most excellent way.
Your focus was spot on showing clear and well defined details in every part of the little bird, and the exposure is perfect. I also appreciate the nice and natural colors.
The cropping is perfect and the bird well placed within the frame. This of course makes for a good and well balanced composition. Really well taken photo with an excellent DOF, and I wish you luck with the contest.
