This bud is the forerunner to a beautiful yellow display and is gearing up for the big reveal.I love the formation of the seed head and the leaves surrounding it. Sunflowers burst into bloom almost overnight and never fail to look spectacular.

Nice capture of this unique flower. I wonder what it is, to be so green in the center?

Nice composition and nice bokeh for the background. I would have upped the contrast a bit to pick up some more of the details.
