Your flamingo shots are always fascinating , stunning portrait again . Imagine I never saw one in real not even in a zoo Loll - your picture is well taken, I love the angle and the close up to show his face expression in perfection , these clear amber eyes are stunning - super focus, clear and sharp in details - your DOF is fantastic as well as the lighting , this looks like a studio shot with all the lamps and spots around , fantastic adjustments, thanks for sharing

Like your edit to show the very colorful details on this flamingo. Very nice focus, good profile frame and exposure. They are colorful birds but sure can be noisy.

I always admire this kind of masterful work by this master artistry. Stunning, clean, vivid and colorful presentation. Positioning is dynamic from that angle. The eye, plumage and beak are wonderful in their colors. The lighting on top of head brings in a glow. Then the whites are vivid and yet so soft. That beak is outstanding in drama colors. I do thanks you for this presentation.

Great job on the photoshop, but to my eyes there is something strange about the eyes and beak. Maybe its just my eyes. Great photo and background! Crazy Al

the eye is real, they have kind of dead dolls eyes. The filter might be the blame for the beak you see. :)

This is really beautiful. Love the colors. Nice focus and clear sharp image. Great in details. I like how the background is black. How did you do it? I am always open to new tricks of the trade.

thanks so much Jane. I use a clone tool to take out the background and then go over it until all the color is gone.
