A very fine shot. The pose is just perfect and I love the crazy hair and the look in his eye. Excellent exposure for the whites and a beautiful background.

Outstanding Capture of this Great White Heron! They are a rarity in our area, mostly found in the Keys here. There is much debate on calling it Morph or a Great White Egret.
But they are closely related to the Great Blue Herons. See his
Blue lore? That is a Blue Heron trait. Pinkish legs on the White Heron versus greyish black on the Blue heron. So an all-white subspecies, is called the Great White Heron.
Excellent exposure, focus, stop action, and unique pose.
Your photography has improved imensley this past year.
This is truly one of your best because you spent hours on the background creating a true work of art that is wall hanging worthy.
Fine work Shadow... My job as your teacher is complete...
You can now fly on your own!
Well done! ❤❤👊👊👊👊👊👊👊👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

100 stars and "gosh" , what a snap shot , our speciality is jumping out of this frame, a birds in an unusual pose , making a move that is unexpected - stunning reaction, fantastic capture, super in composition, great frame perfectly adapted to this bird , his focus and face expression is stunning - you are master of unexpected d moves for sure - I give you an award - these two feathers standing off from his head make me smile I barely can feel what he thinks loll

great camera technique, super contrast and lighting , super fantastic adjustments creating that special perfect shot again, thanks for sharing

Of course you did, I got the title. This is gorgeous. The capture of the moment of reflecting on the day's issue and scratching his chin is super. The white balance you talk about has been put into practice. The blackened background with the hint of structure is a great backdrop. Again, super shot.

Is this a dance or itching a flea? Very interesting picture. Love the beautiful tone on the feathers against the dark bkg. I especially love the head feathers. Doesn't really seem like an Audubon pose to me. Cheers.

Lol, oops, great notes and a funny title :)

Great shot, catching him just as he is getting ready to scratch himself, lol.

It makes for a good picture because it drops his feathers out from his head and provides a great crown.

Nice shooting Eileen :)
